A VICTORY in Europe Day commemoration with a difference will take place in central Lincolnshire in early May.
Dogdyke Steam Pumping Station's opening event for the 2025 season begins with a VE Day theme.
VE Day, commemorating the formal acceptance by the allies of Germany’s unconditional surrender in World War II, is officially celebrated on Thursday May 8, but across Lincolnshire there will be events that whole week, especially the previous weekend.
On Sunday, May 4, between 12.30 and 4.30pm, the team at Dogdyke will be marking Victory in Europe with a 1940s Celebration and the ‘Home Front Farm’
