Kindhearted carers gave up their Christmas money to help animals in need.
The team of community carers from Springfield Healthcare in South Tyneside have chosen to give back in the true spirit of Christmas by donating £150 to Pawz for Thought, a Sunderland-based animal rescue charity.
The money was originally provided by Springfield Healthcare to purchase staff gifts, but the team collectively decided that the most meaningful gift this year would be to help local animals in need.
