Plans to bulldoze a "disused" building in a South Tyneside industrial estate have been given the go-ahead.

The building to be demolished on Bede Industrial Estate.
South Tyneside Council's planning department has approved an application for the demolition of an industrial unit in the Bede Industrial Estate in the borough's Bede ward.
The building sits near the junction of Bedesway and Jarrow Road and directly adjacent to an open grassed area within the industrial estate.
