It can’t be Panto Day already. But... oh yes it is!
We're already well into pantomime season of course, but December 12 marks a point where there are just a couple of weekends to go before Christmas.
So today is a day to celebrate that most British of festive theatrical traditions.
The theme for 2025 is Year of Transformation - from pumpkins to carriages and beans to beanstalks, not forgetting the transformative power of pantomime and marvellous magic of makeup, panto is truly the UK's favourite artform.
