Tegan, 15, all petanque’d up for call-up to England squad

THE oldest Petanque club in Kent will celebrate a landmark anniversary this weekend as it looks forward to seeing one of its players captain England this summer.

Seal Petanque Club, based at The White Rock Inn, Underriver, says it is the first in the South East of England to reach its 50th anniversary.
One of its members, Tegan Finley, 15, from Underriver, was selected for England last year and has now been appointed captain of the England junior squad to play in France and Spain in the next few months. She will also represent the UK at an international event in Canada.
