Government needs to give pay rises fairly

IT is time that our Government came into the real world and got rid of the percentage pay rises throughout the country.

In Australia (I presume they still do), everyone from the highly paid to the lowest paid get the same set sum of extra money, and not a percentage of their earnings.

Instead, in the UK, the higher paid get richer and the poorer paid on lower percentages get poorer. How unfair is this, as we all have to pay the same just to survive?

The people who decide on these pay rises are all on high salaries and don’t want to change the system.
