HE POSTED UNUSUAL DISCOVERY ON SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE
A SCUNTHORPE man's social media post of an old primary school photo he spotted in a charity shop ended up reuniting the decades-old picture with the siblings in it.
Michael Beecroft spotted the photo during a trip to Boston and shared it on the Facebook group 'Charity Shop S**t' on March 9. Housed in a brown, metallic frame, it had seemingly been on a bizarre journey to somehow end up among the picture frames for sale at an Age UK charity shop more than 300 miles away from where it was taken.
However, thanks to "the power of social media", the photo was soon seen by the brother and sister pictured in it Chris Kirkum, 32, who lives in Holsworthy, Devon, and his sister Jade Kirkum, 30, who lives in Bude, Cornwall.
The siblings were roughly eight and six years old when they posed for the school photo at what was then Bude Junior School, in Cornwall.
