Road closures for weight limit warning signs on village route

A SERIES of road closures are planned while new signs are installed to warn of the “lorry ban” on a route covering a number of North Lincolnshire villages.

A 7.5-tonne weight limit has been in place since 2022, first as a trial and then permanently, in an area including villages such as Ulceby and Wootton.
National Highways is now set to install four new signs in place advising of the weight limit for vehicles travelling on the A1077 from the A160.
The signs, which are being installed in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council, will be installed over a period which began on Monday, June 2.
