Wills slams 'abysmal' microplastics

THE Prince of Wales branded microplastic pollution “abysmal” yesterday on a visit to a company producing technology to prevent microfibres from entering waterways.
Kensington Palace and the Wales family's Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
William was shown the firm's Regen machine that can capture half a kilo of cotton or polyester from a three-ton tank of water, saving it from leaking into the environment.
Visiting the Bristol headquarters of 2025 Earthshot finalist Matter to learn about its filtration technology, William told of his horror at the amount of microplastics and fibres entering water supplies and oceans.
