The Scottish Conservative leader has no idea where it will be held, who will be present, or what evidence will be led as William Burns looks to persuade parole officers to release him from prison.

Burns was sentenced to 15 years — 10 behind bars and five in supervision — after throwing sulphuric acid into Mr Findlay’s face and knocking him to the ground in 2015.

Mr Findlay, who was working as an investigative journalist for The Sun at the time, chased Burns and was able to restrain him until police arrived.
