Brassic returns for its seventh and final season

New mum Michelle Keegan is ending a chapter with the seventh and final season of Sky's Brassic.

For the former Coronation Street star, it's been a roller-coaster of madness, mayhem and mischief.

"When I first got the job, I'd just finished Our Girl so I was having a break," says Michelle. 38. "I was 31 when I got the Brassic script. I read it and genuinely laughed out loud, which is very rare. I knew I needed to do it."

Teaming up with Joe Gilgun - who stars as the unpredictable Vinnie O'Neill and co-created the series with Danny Brocklehurst - Michelle immediately felt the potential. "It's so rare for a show to keep coming back," she says. "From day one, I had this feeling, you knew it was going to be special. It was a feeling we all got when we started filming. I'm not surprised it's lasted this long."

Now, the show that's built a cult following with its blend of friendships and crime capers is bowing out. And it's not going quietly.
