Synagogue hero died 'saving the lives of his community'

SYNAGOGUE terror attack victim Adrian Daulby was “a quiet man who became a tremendously strong hero”, mourners were told at his funeral yesterday.

Crowds gathered at the Agecroft Jewish Cemetery in Salford, 10 minutes from the Heaton Park Shul where Mr Daulby died on Thursday.

The 53-year-old was accidentally hit by a bullet as firearms officers brought down terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, who rammed a car into, and stabbed, those going to a Yom Kippur service.
