Flying Nygren ready to follow in Celtic legend Larsson's Parkhead footsteps
BENJAMIN NYGREN sealed a five-year deal then insisted he’s ready to ascend the Celtic throne like the King of Kings.
The 23-year-old yesterday became Brendan Rodgers’ third signing of the summer following the captures of Kieran Tierney and Ross Doohan and Nygren showed he knows his history.
Nygren is the latest Swede to play in the Hoops and he was quick to name drop the greatest of them all —Henrik Larsson, right.
He said: “I feel amazing. It is so nice to be here. I have been looking forward to this so much and can’t wait to celebrate a lot of victories.
