Slattery is eager to make impact

MOTHERWELL midfielder Callum Slattery is determined to build on a late match-winning assist on his return from injury.

Slattery came off the bench to set up Elijah Just's stoppage-time winner at Livingston on Saturday after two months on the sidelines.

Fans were concerned when the 26-year-old dropped out of the squad following a training-ground injury, after he missed virtually the whole of 2024 following a cruciate ligament rupture.

But Slattery, above, was focused on bouncing back in emphatic fashion, just as he did when he netted six goals in the second half of last season.
