Shock warning as adder kills pet dog

A BELOVED Jack Russell has died days after being bitten by an adder, sparking an urgent warning for other dog owners to be vigilant.
Logan Mathers, 17, was out walking two-year-old Donnie on Wednesday when the reptile shot out in Thetford Forest, in Suffolk.
Donnie was bitten on the face and taken straight to a vets for treatment while slipping in and out of consciousness.
The pup was given anti-venom medication and antibiotics but his health deteriorated and he died on Saturday morning.
