LAWRENCE SHANKLAND has urged everyone at Hearts to savour the moment, with the team sitting proudly at the top of the Premiership table.

The Jambos captain was named the top flight's player of the month for September, after he netted three goals in two games, including a double against Rangers.

The inform striker has helped Derek McInnes’ side make an unbeaten start in the league, which has taken them two points clear of champions Celtic at the summit.

That's in sharp contrast to last year’s form when Hearts finished seventh and went through two managers.

“It is a good feeling to be there just now,” Shankland said.

“Off the back of last season, there was a lot of frustration.

Cowardly Keir is worst PM

I CAN'T decide whether Keir Starmer is terminally stupid or he just thinks we all are. I watched his rambling press conference this week - which was supposed to be about the government's £800million initiative to save the High Street (which wouldn't need saving if Wrecker Reeves hadn't taxed businesses to hell and back) - and concluded he's not just THE most disastrous PM in history he's also a morally bankrupt coward who is 100% self-serving and will do anything to cling on to power.
