School in tribute to tragic '1-in-a-million' Margaret

A PENSIONER found dead at her home has been described as “one-in-a-million” by former work colleagues.

Margaret McGowan, a retired teaching assistant, was discovered in a house on Glasgow’s southside over the weekend. She was pronounced dead at the scene in the city’s Nitshill district on Saturday evening.

Yesterday, the head teacher at nearby Gowanbank Primary School where Mrs McGowan once worked paid tribute to her.
