Few monikers inspire such excitement in the motoring world as “Turbo”.

Applied to flagship Porsche models for decades, it has come to represent the quickest and most powerful Stuttgart has to offer. Now, for the 992.2-generation 911, the Turbo name has returned.

WHAT'S NEW?

As you might expect, the bulk of the changes for this latest generation of 911 Turbo S are underneath the car.

But this is a slightly wider and more focused Turbo, with near truck-sized rear tyres and clever active aerodynamics at work.

We've got a revised suspension system and nose-lift technology which can activate in mere seconds, ensuring you're never caught out by an approaching speed bump. And it suffers only an 85kg weight penalty over the car it replaces.

UNDER THE BONNET?

Being a 911 means that this Turbo's engine isn't under the bonnet at all, but slung out at the back of the car.
