Plush home of gang leader's pal is torched as his kids sleep inside

A BUSINESSMAN yesterday became the latest victim of the ongoing gang wars which have engulfed the country on the anniversary of the murder of his "very, very good friend".
David McMillan's plush £1.75million home in Edinburgh was firebombed by two thugs as two of his children were asleep upstairs.
It is the latest terrifying incident in a feud which has escalated steadily over the past couple of months.
The underworld war centres on Edinburgh drugs kingpin Mark Richardon, a close friend of Mr McMillan.
The 37-year-old and his associates have been repeatedly targeted by rivals following the disappearance of a £500,000 cocaine stash.
A Glasgow crime figure, now a successful businessman in Dubai, is believed to be orchestrating the reprisals, which have included drive-by shootings and online threats as well as firebombings on premises linked to Richardson and his associates.
Yesterday, a source told the Daily Record: "There were kids inside the house so McMillan is absolutely raging.
