Allsopp has a pop at author for using free travel pass
A SOCIAL media spat between TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp and author Michael Rosen has sparked a debate about whether wealthy pensioners should use free travel schemes.
The Location, Location, Location host, 54, responded on X to a post from the writer, accusing him of “bankrupting our country” for using a Freedom Pass.
WRONG
The beloved children’s author, 79, had expressed frustration that his pass wasn’t working, writing: “My Freedom Pass doesn’t work. I went to the website to get a replacement Freedom Pass. It won’t let me get a replacement Freedom Pass because the website says ‘You do not currently have an active Freedom Pass”.
