'I've never been at a club where you actually have to win every single game'
OLIVER ANTMAN has been told that playing for Rangers is the toughest mental challenge in Europe.
But the Ibrox new boy insists he’s ready to meet it head on.
The Finnish winger knows life in Glasgow will be different to what he’s used to in Scandinavia or in the Netherlands with former club Go Ahead Eagles.
His former Nordsjaelland teammate Mo Diomande, right, has warned him that Rangers will be a whole new experience.
But it won’t faze the bold 23-year-old. Instead, Antman insists that mental challenge is exactly what drew him to Russell Martin’s new-look squad and he wasted no time proving he can handle it.
With just 24 hours to prepare, the 23-year-old was thrown straight in for his Ibrox debut against Viktoria Plzen in Tuesday night’s Champions League qualifier.
Despite barely unpacking his bags, Antman lit up the right flank with a fearless display, have been pretty crazy, to be honest. I haven’t really had time to think about everything.
“On Thursday, I had a day off and I could think a little bit more about what’s happened.
“But there was still stuff to do with a new apartment so it’s been a crazy few days.
“Pretty much straight away when I came to the building, I had a game to play.
