OBITA: I'LL BE ROARING ON HIBS IN AFRICA

JORDAN OBITA has backed Hibs to handle the loss of their AFCON absentees as he prepares to join Rocky Bushiri in Morocco.

Uganda defender Obita and Zimbabwe midfield star Miguel Chaiwa were given permission to delay their departure to the African showpiece event until after Monday night's clash with Rangers.

But they were forced to do without centre-back Bushiri, who had already set off to meet up with his DR Congo teammates.

Without him, David Gray's team were edged out 1-0 at Ibrox as they lost to Gers for the third time this season. The result cost Hibs the chance to climb to third place in the table.

But Obita (above) expects to find his club side sitting in a strong position once he returns from international duty.

He said: “I'll be off on Wednesday to fly to Morocco to meet up with the training camp.
