Nicole lends support to Sir Chris challenge

A MAJOR Hollywood actress has thrown her support behind Sir Chris Hoy’s charity cycle challenge aiming to raise £1million to support a variety of cancer charities.

Nicole Kidman struck up a friendship with the Scot at Wimbledon, when they sat next to each other at the men’s singles final last month, chatting and later following each other on social media.

Around 5,000 will take part in a 56-mile cycle from the Emirates Arena in Glasgow's east end to the Campsie Hills, finishing back at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
