Blackpool's 162-year-old, Grade II listed North Pier is looking for a new owner - but the price is yet to be disclosed.

Estate agents Avison Young said the landmark’s turnover last year was £2.3million, and they are looking for “sensible offers” for the Victorian attraction.

North Pier, which predates the Lancashire resort’s famous tower by 31 years, opened on 21 May 1863 and stretches 1,410ft from the shore.
