Missing the Max factor
Scottish Daily Express
|April 03, 2025
SO HERE we are already: week 10 of THE APPRENTICE (BBC1, 9pm). Talk about tense. Lord Sugar is still "on the hunt for the next big thing", as they've been saying at the start of each week's show.
-
But he's getting mighty close to that hunt's conclusion, with only seven of this contest's original 18 things or "candidates", if you insist - remaining.
The thing he sent packing last week, you may recall, was senior account manager and former tennis player Max England.
But can Max consider himself a wee bit hard done by? Was his contribution to last week's shopping channel challenge really so much worse than anyone else's? Each team had been asked to pick a number of products to sell live on air.
