Patients are quickly assessed by an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist and, if needed, fast-tracked for further tests — cutting waiting times and anxiety. Both patients and staff have praised the service for its speed, clarity, and reassurance, making it a model now being considered across Scotland.
Clinical research also plays a critical role in developing innovations, translating scientific discoveries into safer, kinder and more effective treatment.
