SCOTS WAHEY: Gilmour and McTominay have taken Napoli to the brink of the Serie A title

- By Ryan McDonald

LENNON MILLER has watched Scottish stars tear it up in Italy and admits he’s tempted to follow the trail blazed by the Serie A revolution.

The Motherwell wonderkid has seen the murals, the McFratm shrine and even the pizza in Naples dedicated to Scott McTominay.

With the Scotland talisman and Billy Gilmour idolised at Napoli, Lewis Ferguson skippering Bologna, Josh Doig shining at Sassuolo, Che Adams tearing it up in Turin and Liam Henderson leading the way before them, Italy has become the unlikely home of a tartan takeover.

Now Miller’s name is being linked as the next Scot ready to make the leap.

The 18-year-old midfielder, fresh from being crowned PFA Scotland’s Young Player of the Year after a sensational season at Fir Park, is on the radar of several top clubs across Europe.

Borussia Dortmund have visions of another Paul Lambert lifting silverware, while their Bundesliga rivals and clubs in Belgium and France circle.
