Jen: I mourned Matthew even before he died

JENNIFER Aniston says it felt like she was mourning her Friends costar Matthew Perry for a long time before he died due to his battle with addiction.

Perry died from the effects of the drug ketamine aged 54 in 2023. He had told about his struggles when filming the hit comedy.

Aniston told US magazine Vanity Fair: “We did everything we could when we could. But it almost felt like we’d been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight.
