JAYDEN RICHARDSON endured a crestfallen moment in his young career after Martin O'Neill walked into a victorious Nottingham Forest academy dressing room.

The St Mirren wingback was chuffed with his contribution to victory over Bristol City. But O'Neill's No.2 Roy Keane wasn't impressed and let rip at Richardson for the one error he'd made. Now Richardson hopes it's the interim Celtic manager feeling deflated when he and O'Neill reunite this evening in Paisley.

"I was a young boy at Forest at the time when he was manager," recalled Richardson of O'Neill's 19-game reign in 2019.

"He would come to watch our games. One time I had an unbelievable game, I scored and assisted but made one mistake.
