THE miracle sole survivor of the Air India plane crash has told how he saw passengers and flight attendants “dying in front of my eyes”.
Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, was the only one of the 242 passengers and crew on board the Gatwick-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner to walk away alive after it crashed in Ahmedabad shortly after take-off.
The Leicester-based businessman was born in India, but has lived in the UK since 2003, and has a wife and four-year-old son.

Vishwash, who was visited in hospital by Indian PM Narendra Modi, described how the lights inside the aircraft “started flickering” moments after take-off.
