Hurricane Melissa death toll rises to 49

THE Hurricane Melissa death toll has hit at least 49, officials revealed last night.
 Nineteen people were confirmed dead in Jamaica while another 30 were killed and 20 missing in Haiti, amid one of the most powerful storms ever to strike the region.
It comes as Britain pledged an extra £5million in aid following the devastation.
