SHALL we take a peek at what's happening on the latest leg of JOANNA LUMLEY'S DANUBE (ITV1, 9pm)?
-
It would be a pity not to. What's happening is that Joanna is entering Slovakia, staying there for a while, then heading on into Hungary, which is the country underneath it (or to its south, if you insist).
Slovakia, she informs us, is home to "just over five million people, stunning alpine vistas, diverse wildlife and an array of dramatic fortifications". Or, to put it another way, not many people live there, but it's got pretty mountains, lots of different animals and a bunch of old castles and stuff.
Either way, it sounds worth a visit, wouldn't you agree?
