THE Princess of Wales was the fairest of them all as she debuted a blonder new look yesterday.

Her Royal Highlights ... Princess Kate

Kate's long locks appeared to have been lightened as they reflected the bright morning sun shining through the car window on her way to Sunday service.

The princess topped her tresses with a black hat as she sat smiling in the passenger seat while husband Prince William drove her and their three children to Crathie Kirk near Balmoral, where they are enjoying their summer holiday.

In the back seat Princess Charlotte, 10, smiled happily at the waiting well-wishers outside the church while Prince Louis, seven, appeared to be frowning in concentration as he listened intently to something his big brother Prince George, 12, was telling him.

The King and Queen looked in a sunny mood too as they arrived at the church to a guard of honour by Balaklava Company, from The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Also spotted journeying to the service yesterday were Princess Anne, 75, and Prince Edward, 61.

The Royal Family are believed to be spending quality time together at Balmoral this week.
