Mike Ward previews tonight's TV
-
SO, WHO'LL have to check out tonight from THE FORTUNE HOTEL (ITV1, 9pm)? And please don’t say: “I couldn’t give two hoots, Mike.” I’ve dedicated a lot of time to this game show’s latest series, following every twist and turn, in order to share with you my expert observations.
I'd hate for you just to say: “Sorry, don’t care. These people are all immensely irritating.”
Not that you'd be wrong, of course.
Irritating they most certainly are, if not without exception then very nearly. Maybe the ad said: “Wanted: immensely annoying
people to compete in game show. Exotic location. Huge cash prize. Slightly self-satisfied host, but you won't see that much of him, so don’t let that put you off.”
