Fury at 'secret' seagull summit

THE SNP Government has been slated over plans to hold a seagull summit in private, with no local MSPs, public or media.
The event next week in Inverness is to discuss concerns over the behaviour of the birds, protected under NatureScot rules.
Licences from NatureScot are required before eggs can be removed or deterrents like lasers deployed.
A total of 2,041 licences were granted in 2023 but this fell to 505 in 2024.
MSPs had heard evidence at Holyrood of people being dive-bombed by the birds.
