FRANCO SMITH reckons Glasgow are better prepared for the URC play-offs than they were last year - even though some key players are out of tonight's quarter-final with injury.

The Warriors are at home to the Stormers - the team they beat at Scotstoun at the same stage last year on their way to being crowned champions.

They already knew they would be missing important forwards such as Jack Dempsey and the Fagerson brothers. And now Scotland centre Huw Jones has been added to the injury list with a recurrence of his Achilles problem - though he could be back for the semi-finals if his team get through.
