ROCKING Rod Stewart brought the curtain — and house - down at Glastonbury yesterday, proving that his old heart is still very much in it.
At 80, and after a knee operation and two bouts of cancer, the music icon made a triumphant return to the festival 23 years after he last performed.
Promising “glamorous and sexy”, Sir Rod lived up to his billing as he played the coveted legends teatime spot reserved for music royalty.
