FM pressed on grooming gangs U-turn

Angela Constance has faced growing calls to quit over her handling of child grooming gangs in Scotland.

The SNP Government refused repeatedly to launch an inquiry - and were "shamed" into a partial U-turn on Wednesday.

A review has been created to look into the evidence, although many critics say this doesn't go far enough. Ms Constance has denied she misled MSPs and the public by misquoting expert Professor Alexis Jay to say she was opposed to any further action in Scotland.

This was completely wrong, with Professor Jay supporting the review, which she will consult on.
