Ibrox target asks to skip tour
CONOR COADY has pleaded with Leicester City to let him skip today’s flight to their preseason camp in Austria so that he can accelerate his switch to Rangers.
The last potential barrier was removed last night when the Foxes ended their protracted search for a new manager by appointing Spaniard Marti Cifuentes.
Coady is now hoping the former QPR boss will sanction his move to Ibrox in time to join preparations for the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos at Ibrox on Tuesday.
