Family left stunned by plunge death in Ibiza of Scots holidaymaker

A HEARTBROKEN mother from the north east of Scotland has taken to social media to reveal that her son has died after falling to his death while on holiday in Spain.

Evan Thomson was killed while on a trip with friends to the Mediterranean island of Ibiza.

It is believed that the 26-year-old from Aberdeen he had been celebrating following his birthday last month.

Mr Thomson is thought to have fallen from a height and despite the best efforts of hotel staff and paramedics, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened at the popular Ibiza Rocks Hotel in the island’s capital, San Antonio on Monday, July 7.

However, it was not until yesterday, that Mr Thomson’s mother, Lel Kellighan, took to social media to announce the tragic news of his death.
