ANDERSON PERFECT TO GO WITH RICE

DECLAN RICE has heaped praise on midfield partner Elliot Anderson for the way the Nottingham Forest star has taken to international football.

Anderson made his third successive start for his country on Thursday night, against Wales at Wembley. And just as in his previous outings, it was another impressive performance.

With next year's World Cup drawing ever closer, Anderson is making a Three Lions starting spot his own under head coach Thomas Tuchel. Rice is delighted with the relationship they have struck up and believes it can only get stronger.

"He's taken it in his stride and is playing exactly how he does for his club," Rice said.
