Darcy’s Lions heartache is nearly over

DARCY GRAHAM is determined to put his Lions heartache behind him - and help Scotland try to bring down the All Blacks.

The winger was a late call-up to Andy Farrell’s squad for the Australia tour and scored on his debut against the First Nations and Pasifika XV.

The Hawick flier’s dream of winning a Test cap turned into a nightmare when he then picked up an ankle injury ending his involvement after 15 minutes.

But having had a taste of it, Graham is desperate to be part of the Lions squad four years from now.

He said: “The whole thing was just an emotional rollercoaster from day one.

“T finally got called up with three games to go and it was very, very special.

“Obviously it didn’t end the way I wanted it to but the whole experience was incredible. It’s probably the proudest moment of my life.
