McCausland has faith in new German boss

Ross McCausland is loving life on loan at Cypriot side Aris and has three goals already this season

ROSS McCAUSLAND believes Danny Rohl can make an instant impact and lead Rangers to the title.

The new manager has just come in and delivered back-to-back league wins against Kilmarnock and Hibs.

McCausland, on-loan at Cypriot side Aris, knows Rangers are chasing runaway leaders Hearts but he has been in the Ibrox dressing room and is in no doubt there is the quality there to turn things around.

The former Sheffield Wednesday manager has given Ibrox a bit of a lift after their nightmare start under Russell Martin.

McCausland said: "For sure, it has never been a case where you are writing it off so early. I know there might be people who don't have belief, but stranger things have happened. I also think there is the quality in the dressing room to go and do it."

The 22-year-old still keeps a close eye on what is happening at his parent club.

"I watch every game," the Northern Irish international continued.
