Ibrox will be rocking after Gers fans got Martin out, warns Goodwin
JIM GOODWIN expects Ibrox to be rocking on Saturday after the Rangers fans got exactly what they wanted - the sack for Russell Martin.
However, the Dundee United boss will take his side to Govan without any fear because his overseas stars aren't scarred by previous hidings.
Martin was fired in the wake of a dismal 1-1 draw at Falkirk before the international break.
And although Goodwin says the home side will be up for it in this weekend's Premiership encounter, he fancies pulling off a result, led by a foreign strikeforce of Ivan Dolcek, Zac Sapsford and Nikolaj Moller.
He said: "I don't want my players to be overawed. I'd imagine Ibrox will be rocking after the fans got what they wanted in terms of the previous manager leaving.
"It'll be a different atmosphere this weekend compared to a couple of weeks ago. But the great thing about going to a place like Ibrox with the group of players we have is there's no fear factor from the foreign guys. These are the games they came to Scotland to be involved in.
"There's no hangover from previous seasons when maybe there were negative results for the club.
