Briton held on mercy vessel in blockade

A BRITISH woman was among the crew of an aid ship boarded by Israeli troops at it sailed towards Gaza.
Former UN worker Chloe Ludden was one of 19 members of the activist group Freedom Flotilla Coalition held after attempting to break Israel’s blockade of the territory.
They were taken into custody when the Israeli navy intercepted and boarded the Handala.
A livestream of the voyage broadcast by the group showed the crew sitting on deck, holding their hands up and whistling the Italian protest song Bella Ciao.
The video feed was cut minutes later.
