Barracks asylum plan fury growing

MORE than 6,000 people have now signed a petition calling for a rethink on the controversial plan to house 300 male asylum seekers at Cameron Barracks in Inverness.

The ex-army base was used from 2021 to house Afghan refugees, but needs a £1million revamp to be habitable again.
