Anguish for family of missing teenger as body is recovered from loch

A BODY has been found in the search for a teenage boy who went missing while paddleboarding in a loch.

The grim discovery was made almost 24 hours after reports of a missing youth were first made.

Emergency services were called to Loch Ore, in Fife just before 5.30pm on Saturday.

A large-scale search for the missing teenager was launched and a Coastguard helicopter was deployed alongside three Coastguard rescue teams.

However, yesterday afternoon, police confirmed that the body of a male youth was recovered from the water.
