Actress Sally Carman-Duttine, who has played the mechanic since 2017, teases that things are reaching boiling point in Weatherfield as Abi’s secret romance edges closer to being discovered. This week it looks like Tyrone may be the one to blow their secret wide open.

“Abi’s torn because she loves Kevin very much but she’s massively in lust with Carl,” Sally says. “Certainly for Abi, it’s turning into love. She’s completely blinkered right now. Every bit of her is drawn to Carl. She’s so in lust she can’t think straight.”
