ABERDEEN v LIVINGSTON

- SCOTT BURNS AT PITTODRIE

ABERDEEN have gone from the ultimate high and now Dante Polvara has admitted they players need to get their fingers out to drag them off rock-bottom.

The Dons lifted the Scottish Cup less than four months ago but now Jimmy Thelin’s new-look side has failed to score a league goal and sit bottom with just one point.

The Reds were booed off after this goalless draw.

Polvara has seen it before but for some of the newer arrivals it might be something of a rude awakening.

The midfielder gets the fans’ frustrations and has acknowledged results need to improve.

He is hoping that starts against Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup this weekend.

Polvara stated: “I think when I first came, that was a bit of a shock, so maybe I don't notice it as much anymore. But I imagine maybe some of the new guys can feel that a bit and I've come to understand that they're sharing our frustration.

“We obviously always try our best and try to get them to be supportive.
