£90k bill for spa boss who used Bentley to block car park at GP's

A SPA boss ran up a £90,000 bill after “blockading” a GP’s car park with her Bentley in a neighbours’ legal battle.

Joy Jarvis’s Glass House Retreat boasts “Zen treatment rooms” for relaxation but she found herself in a fight with Dr Reshma Rasheed over rights to use a narrow driveway between her land and the GP’s Chapel Street Surgery, in Billericay, Essex.

Used to access both Mrs Jarvis’ land and the practice car park, it led to a row which saw the neighbours “headbutting one another for years”, a court heard. The drive belongs to land behind it, bought by Mrs Jarvis and husband Brian in 2021.

Losers

A court heard the neighbours rowed over Dr Rasheed’s right to the drive, with Mrs Jarvis accused of “blockading” the car park with her Bentley.
